Does anyone do this?

I was wondering if anyone schedules a trip for the middle of the week for 10 days out--say Wednesday or Thursday. That way, when their 90 day mark hits to phone they will be calling earlier than many travelers who might not arrive until Saturday. Am I over analyzing this for CRT and other ADR's or have others actually thought of this as well?

To me 90 days is 90 days...there is no benefit to starting your week on a Wed. If anyone is concerned about ADR's they should be calling at the 90 day mark... or have many options (like resort restaurants as a back up)...there are a lot of great choices out there....Just keep away from Le Celliar now that my kids are finally big enough to go...I am booking :rotfl:

We are going from a Wednesday to a Wednesday, however I did not book the trip with thoughts of trying to score better ADR's or anything. It is just more convienent for my family to go in December and avoid Pop Warner week and also avoid the busier, too close to Christmas days. Personally, I would have preferred a Saturday to Sunday trip, but not this time. Anyhow, yes, perhaps you are over-analysing this - I will be calling to book my ADR's and just taking a chance and hoping for the best like everyone else here. IMO.

The real benefit of coming mid-week would be that there might be less people checking in/out at the same time as you, which might make your airport/checkin go more smoothly. The downside is that Tues-Thurs offer the best EMH schedules, IMHO.
