.....as opposed to dinner? I just booked free dining, yippie!! BUT...I've never been an ADR kinda person, only for a couple of character meals. Usually by dinner time we are beat and usually end up just going back to the hotel and eating at the food court. Sooo, I'm contemplating booking our table service for lunch and then we'll eat dinner at counter service. Is this weird? LOL

That is absolutely not weird at all. In fact, last year that is just how it happened. This year being on free dining, I would rather do TS dinner, because we will be back at the hotel for lunch time which will probably be CS. Definitely not weird at all, its all a matter of what fits into your schedule and how your family does things!

I'm just really nervous about having the follow a "plan" for the dining. I know I will change my mind six times before the trip, but I went ahead and booked lunch at Le Cellier, Sci Fi (DS loves movies so hopefully he likes this), Nine Dragons (never been...hope it's good!) and dinner at Crystal Palace and a breakfast at Chef Mickey's. I really wanted CM's for dinner but they had nothing :( I have one table service left and it's the day we will be at AK and there isn't much of a selection there so I'm not sure what we are doing that day.

ETA I cancelled CM's and booked CRT for lunch instead, wooohoo! :)

We have 10 ADR's each and I have booked one breakfast, 2 lunches, and 7 dinners. However, if things just don't work out, or if we feel that we are spending too much time eating and not touring, I am not adverse to cashing in a few TS for CS. After all, it is the parks that we have come for - the meals are just an extra special perk!

On our last day there we are enjoying our table service credits at The ESPN Club for lunch. This is a must eat for us. We will probably eat our counter service credits back at the resort for dinner.

How do you cash in the TS for CS?
