Does Anyone Confirm ADR's???

Hi all,

We are a week away from our Disney trip and I am getting nervous about all of the numerous calls I have made to Disney to make, change, cancel, remake ADR's. I called the other night to try to confirm my dining reservations, but the CM really wasn't interested in doing that. He told me that if I have the reservation number for my ADR that I am fine and not to worry about confirming. I really didn't push it with him because I know it would be a heck of a job reviewing those reservation numbers and dates and he was not into that, but... with free dining underway... I DO NOT want to be turned away from any restaurants due to human error on someone's part. Has anyone else confirmed their ADR's?????

I don't confirm them, but I bring my reservation #s with me. They do make mistakes sometimes. When I called to change one of mine, it wasn't even in the system!

I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS confirm!! Yes, people do make mistakes, but unfortunately one of their mistakes may cost you a show or character meal one of your precious little one was really looking forward too!

I have experienced only ONE CM that acted similar! I very politely asked to speak to his supervisor and he reluctantly helped me! I was still wary because of him and called again just before we left and got a very nice girl who went through it all with me!

I usually confirm several times - DH is a chronic worrier, so he makes me check more times than I would like. Actually, due to the computer glitch at WDW this week, I'm on the phone now confirming AGAIN.

Me too. They can print them out for you at your resort if you want (heard that on one of the threads). A good hint is to put all your confirmation numbers in the calendar/planner on your cell phone, that way you won't lose them. Don't lose your cell phone though. I've got all mine stored in my cell and we don't leave for another month!

I just got off the phone with a very nice CM who comfirmed each and every reservation. Now, I will go fix my self a snack. Thanks all.

I'll call at about 2 weeks out, we are about 4 weeks away from our trip.

I also, carry all my confirm #'s with me as well.

I can't go on a Disney trip without confirming. In fact, I was just on the phone about 1/2 hour ago, making sure my reservation was set for tomorrow! It's not that I don't trust them but...well, I don't. I'm a type A personality vacation planner.

You can use that # anytime you call them to make ressies, change them, plan meals, and later confirm.

All the time, I just call the dining line and ask them to just give me a run down on all my ressies. The CMs are more than helpful to do so- it's less work confirming ressies than having to book them!

It's also a good idea so you won't have any surprises. I have heard very little about things going wrong, but I am a worrywart so I like to be reassured constantly. In fact, I checked three times this past trip with the concierge lounge to make sure they didn't erase something by accident while booking something new.

When I get to the hotel. I always ask guest service to give me a list of all my ADR's and they are more then happy to do this. I check it with my list and if something is wrong they try to fix it right away. Last year there was a screw up with the CP for LeCellers and they fixed it .

I don't confirm my ADR's so much as I always forget the list at home and have to call from the hotel room and have them tell me what they are...
