Does anyone actually like the 'Made With Magic' (glow with the show) wearables?

Those glowing mouse ears that blink in time with varios shows. They hit the parks in 2012 or 13 and I admit, I dug the tech and bought a pair for our last mnsshp. But I'll concede some of the complaints about the distraction are fair.

So my feelings are mixed. I'm contemplating leaving them behind on best trip or doubling down and developing some compatible wearables.

Is this whole concept heading to the dustbin? I see they've released a couple more products.

I like the paint brush I got at Disneyland and liked changing people's ears with out them knowing :)
That looks like fun. I found a source for the color change codes to send with a programmable universal remote and have played with that a bit. I thought it would be fun to make up a batch of IR throwies that broadcast a color change and seed one of the big shows with them set to blast for a couple seconds before one of the big shows. Can build them for about $2.00 ea. wouldnt interupt a show.

My old cell phone is now my daughters starter smartphone and it has anot IR universal remote built in including a receiver so you can memorise new remote codes. Was thinking of writing a quick app to set her screen color to the glow with show colors.

Possibilities are endless really.

Sounds fun! That would be a great application.
