Insects are a fact of life in FL. Anoles (the lizards which eat those bugs), Palmetto bugs, love bugs, etc. It was not uncommon to see anoles and palmteeo bugs in the house even after the exterminator had been there. The exterminator was mainly for spider control.

Live in a tropical area, you have bugs.

Yes, that’s so true. I love having anoles in our yard, but even so the palmetto bugs sometimes surprise me. I live in a stilt house, so they tend to not come inside- unless they do.
