I haven't been down since this attraction opened...in 2 more weeks we will be HOME! But I don't remember even seeing ONE positive comment about the new STICH attraction.

DOES ANYBODY LIKE IT?

Why do most people think it is TERRIBLE?

I haven't been on it but the things I have heard have convinced me to never try it. When we were at WDW in April the lines were too long, plus I HATE Stitch and was sick of the old ride anyhow. I haven't heard even one person say they like it!

I haven't been on it either, but I really did not like the Extraterrorestrial Alien Encounter, so for me, just about anything would be an improvement.

I have never been on it either...is it true that he burps in your face and you can smell the disgusting aroma? If so, I just may sit this one out.

Stitch is not worth waiting in line for, but try it if it's a walk on. The harness thing on the seat is annoying. It's a pretty lame attraction..............

I too have yet to try it, but will next month. Want to see for myself. I did like AE though.

Unfortunately, it seems like the whole thing was just thrown together. Like "hmmm, how can we insert Stitch into this attraction for the least amount of money?" It was too dark for small children (several were crying and had to leave). It wasn't funny or amusing and the chili dog burp in the face was just nauseating. A disappointment all around.

We enjoyed the Stitch attraction. It won't go down as a "favorite", but it was better than Alien Encounter. One visit per trip will be sufficient. DS (9) thought the chili dog belch was funny, it was kind of stinky. princess: pirate:

But, I LOVED Alien Encounter, so in comparison, Stitch is lame. I agree that I wouldn't wait in a long line for it, but I thought it was cute and was fitting for a STITCH ride. My DD4 even liked it. There weren't any children crying when we went. I kept asking my dd4 if she was SURE she wanted to ride it and told her over and over that it was going to be very dark and things would jump at her and so forth. The chili dog burp is disgusting and hard to get that smell out of your mind the rest of the day though. If you're able to walk on or fast pass it, at least give it a try. That way you can give it your on honest critique. Have a great trip!!!

It is truely the worse "attraction" ever placed on the soil of any Disney park.
The fact that no other attraction in the history of Disney has produced the amount of negative guest feedback speaks volumes.

It could have been great, if the accountants had permitted imagineering the budget to make it great.

We didn't like it very much. The chili dog burp thing made me nauseous, and the part where Stitch bounces on your shoulders really hurt.

Just my opinion...

It is horrible - if I waited in a line over 20min, I would have asked disney for my price of admission ticket back :rotfl: just kidding. But whew, it is BAD!!!

DH & I love this one! It's not a major favorite like HM or BTMRR or Buzz, but we will wait in line to do this one! Of course, we love Stitch! :flower:

I can understand why people do not like the complete darkness part. As for the chili dog belch, they used to have scratch-and-sniff cards at the front desks of the resorts so you could "test" the smell to see if it was too bad for you.

I would say try it once and see--at least you could say you've tried it! :goodvibes

We went on AE when it first opened and thought it was really cool, but after you have seen it once, thats enough. We went back another time and thought it was pretty lame. We tried again now that its Stitch, and most of the people laughed and joked through the whole thing.

DH, DS9 and I KNEW it was supposed to be a less-than-stellar experience, but we were able to walk on during EMH in January. It REALLY was something we could have skipped.

My friends from the DIS said the harness doesn't get that tight if you put your fists on your shoulders when it comes down, so I did that. The problem was the shape of the seat. It had a hard plastic ridge that poked me in the back (I have a bad back anyway) and that spot on my back stayed sore for days. The story was sort of boring, and sitting there in the dark having air blown on me (some of it scented, and not in a good way) just wasn't my idea of a good time. We definitely won't do it again, even as a walk on.

We absolutely hated it. I wouldn't say it's the worse attraction we've ever been on, but considering the money and the hype it was a real, real big letdown.

I know there's people who like it. No matter what WDW builds someone will like it. I have no doubt if WDW had an attraction where they throw hot, steaming mud at you there would be people who would like it.

I rode the original AE ride and just didn't get it - I could not understand how anybody found this even the smallest bit scary. It was just lame.

My 5 year old really wants to go on stich when we go this fall. uuuggghhhh

The Stitch Ride is okay, but I can't stand the harness things. I didn't sit up that straight so got squished. Also, as someone said above the sits are uncomfortable.

I wish they would redo the whole ride system so anyone can ride it and they have no harnessess.

The actual Stitch stuff is kind of cute, but it seems shorter than the old Alien Encounter and its not scary. He does burp onion breath on you (which I could have done without). The big Stitch animatronic is really neat. We didn't take my 4 yr. old niece on it because we thought she would freak out with the harnessess (she was tall enough).

I don't want to go on it again from fear of being squished and just uncomfortable.

I love it.

Before I rode it ALLL I read on the DIS was how awful it was. I decided to make that decision for myself. Me and my hubby both enjoyed it and plan on riding again! :)
