Does anybody else think....

So now with the Penny Arcade and the Magic Shop on Main Street, VMK resembles the Disney Theme Parks a lot. The lands are dead on with the parks but does anybody else think that Tomorrowland doesn't really resemble the real one at all? I mean the Captain Nemo submarine is pretty good but that is the only thing i can think of that resembles it. Tomorrowland is supposed to be themed around a sci-fi hub that people come to transport into space. I know they added it recently but i just don't think its very similar. Does anybody else think that?

Too much of VMK's Tomorrowland is in space. Adventure Thru Inner Space was supposed to be in a lab in the parks, but they moved it into space in VMK (inner-outer space? ) Also I'm not sure where they got the idea that Autopia takes place on Mars...

As for Main Street feeling more like the parks, I definitely agree. Now I would just like a monorail that ISN'T some sort of dance-party nightclub...

if they would do that I would wet myself but they would HAVE TO add a space mountain mountain with the coaster and make the TTA run through it

I'm way too far away to go there more than once every five or six years

The Tomorrowland Transit Athority at WDW is like the Wedway People Mover at DLR they were Walt's vision of transportation in the future a clean, efficenent and safe mode of transport for urban centers. What it is in the parks is just like a relaxing ride around tomorrowland while it gives some facts and takes you through various attractions such as Space Mountain and others. I for one love sitting on it becuase it almost never has a line and is a good mid day rest or fun if your waiting for others to get off another ride. TTA is still operating at WDW whilst the Wedway People Mover at DLR is not due to high mataniance. The concept of the TTA is the cars themselves have no moving parts and are pushed along by friction wheels imbeded in the track even if 20 sets of wheels were broken the ride could still operate smoothly. The entire TTA is under a canopy giving you shade and protecting track and friction wheels from rain and such but the Wedway People Mover track was exposed to weather ( not under a canopy ) making the wheels and track very high matanince. I'm right there with you broham! Maybe i'll see you at the Imagineering headquarters someday. There is some much they could do with it, a transportation center with a Stitch NPC, Star Command with a Buzzlightyear NPC( maybe a new mini game), Space Mountain, Star Tours with a Rex NPC, TTA, Monsters INC Laugh Floor with a Mike NPC, and i think Tomorrowland itself is just so beautiful and so fun to see. So i think they should ditch the outer space thing.
