Does anybody else find the situation in Germany to be rather odd?

OK, I ma not fully versed in what happened, but now they are making deals to see who is in charge of the country? The guy who gets voted out refuses to leave?

They should just send them to tribal council and let the surrounding countries leaders vote one of them out!

Not an expert in German politics but presumably it's just proportional representation in a multi-party system in action? There was no clear winner in the elections so a coallition of parties with a balance of the seats is agreed. Most European countries are the same, you should see the Italians in action!
