Does any one else miss the 7 in 7 hotel reviews?

Our family is planning a Nov 2017 trip and one group is interested in staying at the All Star Music resort. I've read both good and bad......then I found the DIS 7 in 7 review from way back in 2013...which wasn't good.....the podcast was great.....the review was less so.... I'd love a updated review by the team (I value their opinions)...........I loved those shows. I do appreciate how difficult they must be to produce but they were fun and very informative.

My wife and I are doing a split stay at WL and POP in June........maybe I'll do something But that doesn't solve my ASMu issue

Personally, I miss the reviews of old (Like, going back to 2009-2012) where Pete and some of the other team members would stay at a resort for a couple of days and do a more in-depth reviews of a resort and the rooms, dining, amenities, etc.

Of course, I can see why doing 7 in 7 is a bit more feasible at getting around to every resort quicker.

As a relatively new listener/watcher of the Dis Unplugged, I had actually just come across the 7 in 7 the other night. I watched the review on Art of Animation, as that's where we will be checking in on Sunday. Regardless of the review, we would have been staying there due to the family suite, but I was excited to know that the team had such a great experience there, as I too value their opinions.

I would like to see an update, if given an opportunity, because I know, like anything, things can change over time. The review was really well done and I liked the intro video and resort overview. The time and effort the team puts into these things is very much appreciated.

2017 will be the trip with my wife's family. Gotta say really enjoyed our stay at AKV. That resort is overwhelming

"Retirement"...........just don't see that happening..........if I could get my company to ok a move to FLA ..........that would be the closest I come

While I loved the 7 in 7's has that much really changed at the resorts to justify more of the same? The 'what we love about' was a new spin but mostly nostalgia and stories and less about the resorts themselves. I'd prefer any new resort reviews to be in a different format.

i enjoyed the 7 in 7 but also liked the "Why we love ____" replacement. I would like to see them just take each resort and talk about why they love them/ or not so love them. Or just talk about different experiences they may have had at a certain resort

If they do nothing more than what they're always done in the past, I'm happy. If they do nothing more than what they're doing right now (which continually gets better and better, and more and more) I'm happy. If they do more, I'm happy. I just love it all, realize how much work everything is, and am appreciative for whatever they always manage to give us.

This is an excellent question............I think what the 7 in 7 reviews did was highlight what's going on at the resorts....its been 4 years since the last review for some resorts, they would be at the top of my list.....There are actually some resorts that haven't been reviewed, that I can find. Most notably Saratoga Springs, Port Orleans Riverside, and the Tree House Villa's. There has also been upgrades in some hotels since last reviews in 2013 and 2015. Maybe they could do "7 resorts in 7 'months" deal........where the reviews are a bit more detailed! There's been some turnover with DIS staff..........maybe an all female 7 in 7? IMHO I think there's enough to change it up but still give us the hotel reviews we've all come to appreciate from Pete and the team. Again I do appreciate the pain in the butt producing this can be.............but I do miss them.

7 in 7 is how I found the Dis Unplugged! I was looking around on YouTube for reviews/videos of the Beach Club and stumbled upon this fantastic show which has become an addiction! Yes, new resort reviews would be great. The last time the group was at the Poly, "Construction-Palooza" as Pete called it was going on. It would be great to hear an update on that resort and the others.

I stayed at AoA for the first time in 2015, Poly in 2016, and Beach Club in 2016. Even though I saw the reviews a ton of time. I would keep watching just to get excited about the trip.
