Does an AP come with a photopass number on it?

A friend of mine recently renewed her AP and said she thought there was a Photopass number printed on the back...is that correct or is this number for something else???

Yep..just got my renewed one and no picture but yes photopass number.

Now, well since May or June, they added to the AP# and barcode that is scanned at the turnstyle and registers.......A Photopass ID # and a photopass barcode (one of the newstyle barcodes that are in the shape of a square and readable with cellphone apps).

We were told it was so we could use one card as a AP and PP. But now when getting an AP they don't take your picture, you take it to a PP Photographer and they take your picture and enter it into the AP system.

They also don't have the little wierd looking black and white photo of you(us) on the back anymore. The CMs just see that picture taken by the PP photographer on thier screen.

Heads up: once that photopass number is associated with your account your time starts to when your pictures expire. So on your first trip using it, you have 30 days to link it to your PP account then 30 days to order pictures or a cd. But on your 2nd trip since you have already linked the number to your account, then you only have 30 days from when the new pictures are taken to order pictures or a cd.

I wondered if that would be the case. So after the first trip, if you are planning on using that 60 day window, go back to getting a card from the photographer.

ahhh..hmmm. Have to be quicker on the ordering I guess. I'll get PP for sure this trip since it's our first Hallowwen party, but in January I don't know if I'll use it or not...

Just get a new photopass card on later trips. You don't have to use the one on the AP.
