Does AKV Sell Iron Horse in Gift Shop?

Remembered seeing the Iron Horse Fairy Tale Cuvee in the gift shop @ WL before...have never tried it and would like to enjoy a bottle sail away on upcoming cruise, price thru DCL seems higher than i recall that it was on-property ($52 )

anybody know if it's sold @ AKV so i could pick up a bottle there pre-cruise?

ps...is it worth the trouble?

Don't try it!! It's an expensive habit, LOL! It is very good, IMHO. DH and DBro consumed quite a bit of it during our last cruise, and continued while at WDW.

I think it was less expensive at WDW and was sold in several gift shops.

Dh and I had it for the first time on our honeymoon and it has been our favorite sparkling wine ever since! I do agree that it can become an expensive habit, but it is just so good and who can resist the name, esp. at Disney world!

The Iron Horse Wedding Cuvee is also very good if you get the chance to try it. Its a little easier to find at wine stores in my neck of the woods.

You can pick up the Wedding Cuvée right from their website, for $38/ea I believe. I think the Fairy Tale one is only available on Disney Property.

as i understand it, PA liquor laws prohibit shipment of vino in, unless u buy a case thru the state store , even then has to be on their approved list...dark ages we live in

state stores carry such a ltd inventory, i didn't think to check there! note: checked PLCB website, they do carry 4 different types:

Russian Cuv 01 ($28.99), Russian Cuv 02 ($31.99), Wedding Cuv ($36.99); and BlDeBl? ($33.99)...now to pick one to sample lol

I don't know if it is sold at AKV but $52 is steep! We bought it for 24.95 at the kitchen store in Downtown Disney last February. Enjoy your Fairy Tale Cuvee and your cruise!
