have club level? i am thinking of upgrading to a one bedroom when they open up (only around 220.00 a night with discount) at the end of jan. (for our time period) but I want to do club level...i have a reg club room now i got for 201.00 a night but i think i want a bigger room.

Yes, there are 5 two BRs villas on the 6th floor. They are all lockoffs so can be split into one bedrooms and studios.

However, you might not be able to get one on a cash reservation this close to the date especially since there are so few.

There is club level at AKV, but due to their limited numbers are almost always going to be booked up by DVC members as they get first crack at them.

we are not going till dec 2008,i just made my other resi last night...but the guy i spoke with said if i call back at the end of jan i could upgrade to a one bedroom but i didnt ask him about club level..he said i could get a one bedroom for around 225.00 a night but i need to know how much to upgrade to club level.If I dont get it i dont get it no big deal i already have reg club level i just wanted more room.

I suspect that $225 is for a studio not a one bedroom.

I assume that you are talking about value season. Studio is $265 with no conceirge service with conceirge service is showing $455 for studio and $610 for one bedroom.

DVC members(AKV owners) can't even make reservations until this month for Dec and all other DVC members would have to wait until May, if there were going to be any rooms left for cash, they probably wouldn't be available until after May. Disney has to leave most (if not all) of all DVC rooms available for members. Disney can only sell rooms for cash that are still left in their unsold inventory, or a AKV member has traded out(for a non DVC property). Based on that, I wouldn't suspect to see much availability.

the 228.00 was with 40% off code and he knew i was not a dvc member and told me they open up for me to res on jan 28th ,i called back this am and was told the same thing...if they are wrong then they are wrong it is not a big deal I already have a room and i was told 228.00 for one bedroom at saratoga springs and for a value one bedroom at akl villas ,that was NOT club level, i didnt even know if they had club level for AKL villas, that was my question, they also told me they HAVE put the 40% code they sent out on some rooms at saratoga,beach club,OKW,YK, but have not decided on akl villas yet because of the big mess with the code last year but he said they most likely will release some of those also and for me to call back on the 28th.If I can get one great if not I will stick to my sav view club level I already have,it is still a good deal at 201.00 a night
