Does AAA discount park tickets ???

Ok here's the deal. Disney raised the prices 2-3 months ago, & Georgia & Tennesse did not! So the prices are correct. The only branch off 95 is in Savanah, but it is not opened on the weekends. They will mail me the tickets registered & insured, but the can only put $500.00 worth per envelope, so there would be an added cost of $10.00, that still makes my savings $54.78. Has anyone come up with cheaper AAA prices from an office that will mail?

csmommy,

Ask them about the 6HP prices for TN and GA. I think these tickets are 6HP+ because the regular price seems to be Disney's 6HP+.

MMCD they only off 6HP+ for $271.95 adults & $217.95 children.

Hope this helps everyone & please let us know if your AAA rates are lower & mailable. :)!

csmommy,

The next cheapest I found is:

http://www.aaacarolinas.com/Members/Discounts/attraction.htm

5PH
A: $219 @ $43.80/day
C: $174 @ $34.80/day

Please post what shipping will be.

Thanks for reverifying the 6PH being a PH+. It's a misprint then on their website.

Have you tried your local Disney Store? They cost a bit more:

4PH
A: $203.52 @ $50.88/day
C: $161.12 @ $40.28/day

5PH
A: $230.02 @$46/day
C: $182.32 @ $36.36/day

6PH+
A: $293.64 @$48.94/day
C: $235.34 @ 39.22/day

I'm still researching for more AAA. When I try to go to ouraaa.com, it refers me back to my home state of TX.

someone posted
4 day, 204.00a, 161.00c
5 day, 231.00a, 183.00c
6 day+, 295.00a, 236.00c
7 day+, 326.00a, 263.00c

If this is true, the 7day+ price is HIGHER than what Disney is charging on their own website. They quote $319 as the price and $307 as the online prepurchase price (and supposedly Disney Club can get it for $304).

So where's the savings in getting the tickets through AAA?

In looking into this I have found that when they list the Disney price they only list the gate price not the advanced purchase price. Also the AAA prices include tax while disney charges an 11.5%(i believe) tax.

Okay....went thru the whole WDW process just shy of "checking out".

The $307 "advance purchase" price plus $19.97 tax (6.5%) totals $326.97 for an adult 7 day park hopper plus pass.

If AAA is selling them for $326 even, no tax, no further charges, then you are saving $0.97 through AAA ... but you can also get the AAA Diamond parking pass at no additional fee from AAA.

I am assuming Disney Club also has the 6.5% tax so their $304 price tag will actually total $323.76 ($3.21 cheaper than via the WDW website; $2.24 savings over AAA).

Since we're staying on-property and won't be parking at any of the parks, the AAA Diamond Pass isn't a perk for us this time around.

I'm confused. Can you buy tickets from an AAA office that is not in your same state?

Muffin

It depends. Some will only sell to you if you go to the AAA office, & some will mail certified registered which will cost more.
Where did you wish to buy from? Perhaps one of us has already spoken to them & can tell you their policy.

Thanks csmommy, but I'm not ready to buy just yet. I was just doing some research for when I am. But thanks for the info, I will be sure to contact different offices when I am ready.

but not the admission tickets. As long as you have the card showing on the dash, the parking attendant may not read the blackout dates. It's 1st come, 1st serve anyway EVERYDAY!!!!

I can't find anything on the AAA Texas website. Has anyone had better luck?

Thanks for resurrecting this thread, we had some fun researching this ;) .

I got into Texas AAA at:
http://www.aaatexas.com/

but I could not find WDW PH's. Good luck & please post the prices with tax.

MMCD, what a great price & it includes tax. I wish all the codes would come out so I can decide if I need an AP not not!
