Hello all. I know this is the place to get the answer that I'm looking for :) The last time that I went to WDW was in 2005 and I have a trip planned for this September (53 days to go!!!!!!). We used to get a drink, and appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. Now I know that appetizers are no longer included but what about drinks? Did they take that away from the DDP too?

You get a (non-alcoholic) drink.

It is gratuities that are no longer included (at most TS venues).

It is a specific type of drink you have to get (like fountain pop)? Or can you get a milk? My dh always has to have a glass of milk with his meal!

You can get milk as the beverage. Milk will not be refillable unless the restaurant is an all you can eat type of restaurant but it is included as an option for beverages. Same goes for juices. At restaurants where milkshakes are served, milkshakes can be used as the drink option for adult meals or dessert options for kids meals. Basically any non-alcoholic beverage on the menu aside from a few specialty ones (generally they come with some kind of souvenir mug or light up ice cubes) can be ordered as your drink on the dining plan.

If they have smoothies, they're included at most places as your drink option....we didn't find that out until almost the end of our trip. Yum!!!
