Dodgeball

This week in gym we played dodgeball. I find it very fun until I get out and the kids who hide in back are left.



Well today we had the greatest game of gym ever. If you ever watched the movie 300,well than you will know what I am talking about. It was freshmen vs. sophomores and the freshmen out-numbered us like 35 to 5(half of the class was at drivers ed and the rest were at this grandparent thing we had today). Our whole team was my friend Ryan and me. We played two games of atleast 20-30 minutes and would have beat them but we have a rule that if you make a shot in the basketball hoop that your whole team can come back in. So we would have won if it wasn't for that rule. It was also funny because they thought that they were cool because they beat us even though they had 7 times the amount of kids. So it was a lot like 300 because at the end they all died.lol

It was still an amazing game

We are playing prison ball which is practically the same thing but when you get out you have to go to the wall at the other end of the court and your team has to throw you a ball and you have to catch it to come back in.
But when one team only have like 5 people our teacher will call Jail break and everyone gets to go back in.

It's ok. I never get a ball and no one ever hits me.

Dodgeball got banned from our school. People were breaking bones.
But now we play "Lion Ball" which is dodgeball only without dodgeball and with soft ones.
BTW the lion is our mascot so thats where that name came from.

I am amazing at "Lion Ball"/dodgeball. We actually just played on Thursday. I had 6 catches. chyeahh.

Yeah, we use like foam balls but if it hits you in the face it still hurts but not as much if it was the real dodgeballs.

I love dodgeball. That was gym through middle school, and there were so many variations on the game. The only thing I don't like is the softer balls get so much curve that sometimes it makes me miss.
