My DS wanted to watch it today so I caved. Is it a new Dee Dee? DS keeps saying that is not Dee Dee.

Ugh! The Creepy Bops as I like to call them! My kids love them! My dh mentioned that DeeDee changed her hair so that mught be what your ds is talking about.

Dee Dee Moe and Rooney are all the same. However, the black woman is now "Jazz". It used to be "Mazz"..a different woman. However, their makeup is all new and so is their hair and clothes. Same freaky crap though...

The reason they look different is they are not wearing the face masks anymore...They used to have a hood type thing that covered their ears and sort of framed their face. Now they just wear skin makeup. the costumes are also a little different. I was reading this on the Doodlebops website..(I know, how sad am I????) My 2yr old absolutely loves them. It is one of the few things he will sit still for. Them and Rachael Ray??!!!

My (soon to be) 4 yo dd really enjoys the DoodleBops and I have to say, I enjoy them more than the Wiggles lol.
I saw this thread and turned them on real quick to see what y'all were talking about. Right away, my dd said that DeeDee looked more fashionable! I asked her what she meant and she said that she had more sparkles and her hair was prettier!
Now, I'm not sure where my dd gets all this "fashionable" speak from...maybe too much "that's so Raven" and shows like that?!
(It definitely isn't coming from me because I'm "far from fashionable"! )

Isn't that funny...my DD5 LOVES Rachael Ray also.

At Thanksgiving time last year I happened to go grocery shopping for Turkey dinner right after she watched Rachael's 1-hour special on Thanksgiving. NOTHING I tried to put into my shopping cart was right...DD was (loudly) informing me that Rachael uses THIS, not THAT. Every time she saw something that resembled a product Rachael used DD insisted that I MUST buy it. Too funny!

Yeah they look very different but I just think Jazz is new since Mazz was only for the first season they said. But like another poster said they aren't wearing those hoods that covered their necks and all, now it's just all make up. But she looks thinner or something and sounds a bit different.

DD (11month) loves to watch and dance to the music!

I liked Jazz, Mazz just seems strange to me for this show.. but who knows they are all a bit strange!!

I have a sever dislike for the Doodlebops. : shiver : I'm not that much more of a fan of the Wiggles, but I'd take them over the DPs any day. But if I had my druthers, it'd be Rachel Ray anyday. Thank goodness DS5 likes to watch her with me!

I agree with all of you they are strange. The 4 year old girl I watch says Dee Dee is different. I looked today and I agree. They have changed their hair, makeup and Dee Dee. Very Odd show.

My daughter loves the Doodlebops and she's only about 11 months old! Though they do freak me out, the music is fun for them and they really do teach kids how to be kind and considerate to each other.

I just don't understand the bus driver. That guy freaks me out worse than the makeup characters! "We're goin' on a bus ride. Oh yeah!"

My son too!!! He loves Doodlebops and Racheal Ray!! I think he believes she like an Aunt or something. We used to put her on every evening as we cleared our dinner plates and he's used to her voice. Once I was putting him down for a nap and Rachael pop up as a guest on a talk show I had on the TV, well DS woke up and looked to see if it was Rachael! He just loves her!!

I honestly had to look at the credits to see if it was a new DeeDee or not. Then I realized it was the make-up.

By the way, DH LOVES the bus driver! He knows the whole rap!

Doodlebops don't bother me. However, I'd much rather watch Anthony of the Wiggles for 30 mins!
