We received our documents for 6/26 Magic. All four of us (me, DH, DS, and DD) have incorrect info or misspellings. These mistakes were caught by me when we first recieved our confirmation (about a month ago). I immediately called DCL to make the necessary changes. The confirmation said that I was a Mr., my husband was a Mrs., our last names were misspelled and our kid's first names were horribly misspelled. DCL representative said "It's good we caught this before the documents were issued." Well not so-they are all still incorrect. I was told today that it is correct in their computers-just not on our documents. I have travelled on RCCL, NCL, and Carnival. I have been told how important it is for documents to match birth certificates and id's. I was told today not to worry-it would all be fine when we arrive at the terminal-but I am still concerned. Can anyone give me assurnace that we won't be hassled at embarkation?

Having flown for business and vacation, and seeing how an accidental booking with my nickname caused a problem at the airport, IMHO I would insist on the correct names on documents.

It would give peace of mind for you to have it correct and not deal with it at the terminal and be stressed out before the trip. You will have other items to stress you out!!!

:D

Having cruised before with NO documents from the cruise line, it is not an issue. I completed blank forms at the port.

Airlines are a different story.

The documents they issue is just paperwork for them to keep on file.

Just have them fax you a new confirmation to ensure that all is correct on your reservation.

When you arrive at Port Canaveral they will look at your photo ids, your birth certificate/passport and match everything to what is in their computer.

No worries.

When you check in at port and get your KTTW cards make sure THEY are correct.......matching birth certificates, ids and KTTW cards are a must. Until then.....no worries.

On our April cruise the CM under the tent outside of the port building was checking documents and IDs. I had a space between two letters of my last name on the documents. I hadn't noticed it but she was having trouble finding me on her list because of it. It took quite a while before I discovered the error and she was able to find me on the list. Meanwhile, I'm holding up the line and making the rest of my family (who's docs were OK) wait for me. I would try to see if DCL could send new docs before you leave. It will be less stressful all around!

Good luck,

UMTerp

This past Jan they had my date of birth wrong on their records and cruise documents, but it was no problem. They looked at my passport and said it was OK.

You would probably be ok, but I agree with above, make sure the KTTW card matches everything.

Hey nitz - which Eastern January cruise were you on? We were on Jan 10.
