Could someone tell me where there is a Doctor's office near Disney?

My 10 month old has fever, stuffy nose, and I'm taking him to his Doctor today just to rule out an ear infection.
I just want to be on the safe side and know where the closest location is at, in case he gets worse or the ear infection comes next week.

Thanks!

We took my daughter to one of those treatment center places. It was near downtown Disney. Sorry, can't remember the name of the place. Just ask at the front desk of your hotel, they will know where it is. The only bad part is that they do not accept any insurance, and you must pay in full when you leave.

they also have a service where a doctor will make a "house" call. You pay a surcharge. They don't process insurance--you have to pay by credit card, travellers check or cash. But you can submit it to your insurance. My DS needed an antibiotic--he mixed it on the spot and sold me that too--no trip to a pharmacy.

There is also a free pick-up & drop-off service. The cast memebrs at the first aid station called for us. We were in MGM last december and my little one got sick with a high fever. Clinic personnel came and got us at MGM and took us to the clinic and then took us back to our hotel. This helpeed us since we didn't have a car for the first time. Also theere is a hospital in Celebration. Yes, we've been there too, another daughter got hurt at MGM and we had to take her there. We had a car that time.

right across from Jungle Jims and next to where you enter the disney resorts. I had to use that last summer and they are open till around midnight... they have a pharmacy in it as well.

Back in 1997 we had our sick 1 year old with us. She was on antibiotics for an ear infection and I thought I might need to take her to the doctor. We didn't have to, but we were staying in the Radisson Resort Parkway in Kissimmee and I noticed a clean looking walk in treatment center in the mini-mall down the block. It was on the 192, very close to WDW. There were several restaurants in the minimall including a nice steakhouse (Charlie's I think). It was also pretty close to Celebration.

If you're child is put on antibiotics and you need to keep it cold on vacation, you can bring to the 1st aid station in each park (usually right by the baby station). They were able to refrigerate the medicine for us and some of the nurses even helped me hold my daughter still to give it to her.

My son had a severe asthma attack when we were at the Magic Kingdom April 2000. There is a wonderful hospital called Celebration right down the road and everyone was great to him. He was 3 at the time and needless to say scared stiff but everyone at Disney and the hospital showed him extra special care and although I am sure that wasn't exactly what you were looking for I hope it helps.

Last May our DD was 15 months and she ended up with a double ear infection during our Disney vacation. We took her to the hospital at Celebration and the staff there was just great. Real good to know that a place like that is there - but I hope we never have to use them again!

Good luck!

My daughter became ill when we were in Florida last July. She was running a fever and vomiting. We took her to the clinic near Downtown Disney. They told me they thought she had appendicitis and that we would need to take her to Celebration hospital. They wanted to call an ambulance to transport her, but I told them that I would take her right over. They were very insistent, but I refused. They charged me $100.00.

When we got to Celebration hospital, the doctor said that she just had some type of gastric upset. When I told him that the clinic thought she had appendicitis, he just shook his head. They gave her a couple of shots and put her on an IV for an hour and released her. Although she didn't feel great the remainder of the trip, we did manage to do some things.

Needless to say, I wasn't impressed with the clinic. If we ever have a medical problem again while visiting DW, we will skip the clinic and go straight to Celebration hospital. They were great!
