We booked our cruise (July 3-10 Magic/Western) using part DVC points and part cash. Will we receive our Excursion information and docs just as cash reservations do?

I know it has been asked before, but when should we expect them?

Thanks,
Karen

You'll receive your excursion info at 60 days & your docs will come UPS 2nd day about 2 weeks before. They do get them out a bit late, but they come!

Don't make any changes to your ressies. It will cost you $75 a pop! They love those fees at DVC!

Ok I was reading over the FAQ on that site, and it sounds like DVC is a timeshare. I personally don't know what's involved in a timeshare - however how do you use DVC points on a DCL cruise?

Also from what I was reading it requires $13000 to enroll!?!?!

Yes, DVC is a timeshare, and trading your points for Disney Cruises is one option (the value of this trade is a debated subject) I would suggest heading over to the DVC Board, where they will be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Thanks for the information-hhmmmmmm-according to most folks, we should have received our excursion booklets by now.

jfs9900-like RickW mentioned, the DVC board can answer all of your questions and most posters there have much more knowledge on DVC than I do!! I know about our points, what we paid for them and how we like to use them, but the DVC board can give you all the specifics!
