Docking question.

Does the Magic always dock at Port Canaveral with the same side against the pier? If so which side is it?

Starboard side faces the pier - which is the right.

And the reason for it ALWAYS docking so the starboard side is to the terminal... that's where the door into the atruim is ... really. There is not a door on the port side of the atrium - just portholes.

OK you nautical folks: is the "door" call a: door or hatch or some other name?

So the port side never faces port (at Port Canaveral)

There is a Hatch (door) on the port side of the Ship. It's in by the Guest Services desk behind some curtains. I saw it from the outside of the ship when we were docked at Castaway Cay, so I had to find it from the inside. It's not directly across from the starboard side hatch, it's about 10ft forward.
