Has anyone noticed if the sign on the dock has been replaced yet?? We were there in January of this year and it was in pretty bad shape. The maintenance crew was there looking at it the day we left. I just hope they will leave the original Mickey (with his rifle) when they replace it.

43 days, 1 hour, and 58 minutes til we're back at the Fort and Star Wars Weekend. :woohoo:

It was still there the end of March. It has looked pretty ratty for a while.

Lets hope they leave it alone , I am sure they would remove mickey and his musket.

It was still there April 8th. I agree that it is looking pretty poorly and the directions on it aren't even up to date. It still mentions Discovery Island and there was something else about it that escapes my mind at the moment.

I do agree that I wish they would keep the old Mickey symbol with the musket, then again, I was upset when they got rid of the totem poles because it offended American Indians. Personally, I think the totem poles would be a sort of tribute to them. :rolleyes1

I just got back from the fort yesterday after staying for 10 days and the sign is still in bad shape. We were sad to see it rotting away like that.

live from FW

yes the signs are still up and in poor shape. Its the only thing that reminds me of the way FW was, Lets leave it alone.
