My son wants to do the character breakfast with Donald Duck at Animal Kingdom. I can't seem to find out what characters are there. Is there anyone other than Donald? Any comments on this meal from those who have been?

we saw donald, mickey and i believe goofy and daisy? but i cant remember for sure. DEF mickey and donald though.
It's a good meal. we loved it!

Yep - those are the ones we saw in December

Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy

The food is good, but the place is conjested (tables are VERY close together) and it is LOUD.

Mickey, Donald, Daisey and Goofy. We were there the 1st week of Feb. Food was very good and we all had a great time.

We have eaten at that buffet twice now, we saw Mickey, Donald, Goofy, & Minnie. Just a tip...the food is good but heavy! Also, this buffet is VERY loud and crazy. Our family will not be doing it again due to the noise level and atmosphere.

However, it might be a good fit for your family...try it once! I like a meal with a little less noise.

Is anyone else on hold for Disney dining. I have been on hold since 7:00! I't now been 45 minutes. I'm getting frustrated. Especially since we had to turn the clock forward one hour last night. I'm falling back to sleep, but I'm holding on.

We did this last year. We loved the character interaction! They signed all our autograph books and my boys (even though they're older) really got into the conga line thing. Everyone found plenty to eat to their liking. But I will second the loudness, it was very very loud in there.

I agree that the tables are close. But I didnt really find it any louder than any other place:confused3
We loved it! The jungle juice is awesome!
Great breakfast:thumbsup2

We haven't been yet, but we do have an ADR there for our upcoming trip. We have 4 character meals planned and this is one of the ones I am VERY excited about trying. I have heard nothing but rave reviews about it (from people on the DIS and people that I know who have went). My girls are big Daisy fans and never seem to find her when we go to the parks, so this was an obvious choice for us so they can meet her....finally! :goodvibes

And you get Daisy in her safari gear! I hope you have a great time. I will definetly be returning to this place.

Donald's breakfast at AK has good food and good character interaction... keep in mind it is a pretty long walk to the back of the park in the morning.

in general the character breakfasts at all the locations have pretty good food, for a buffet.

We loved it! Our ADR's were for 10:15 and there were VERY few people there at that time of day (Feb 08). We had 2 or 3 visits from each of the characters. We'd do that one again for sure!

Thanks everyone. I think we will try it. We normally don't do breakfasts becasue we love to get to the park early and bang out allof the big rides before the crowds arrive. Maybe I will try to get a 10:00 reservation so we can ride EE first.

Are all of the characters in safari gear?

We enjoyed it but it took a while to get in even with ADRs. Here are pics of our visit there last trip.

This was my favorite character breakfast last year (1900 Park Fare was my fav dinner). We saw Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Mickey while there. They also dance around the restaurant with your kiddos and they give them little instruments to play too haha. The food was very good and the chef was awesome with accommodating DDs food allergies.

oh and I also wanted to add, we had 9 AM ressies and we were out fairly quick. When we got out we did not have to wait on KRR, the CM actually let us ride it twice, we accomplished a lot that morning.
