do your kids wear mickey mouse ears?

Before I buy my boys mickey ears, I was just wondering if your children actually wear them after you have bought them? Are they comfortable? Do they stay on their heads?

My boys didn't wear them much in the parks, but they do wear them here at home a lot, along w/ their Mickey gloves.

My DD ears were $10 or $12 I cannot remember. She loves to wear them around the house but she didn't wear them all that much in the parks of course she was only 20 months at the time and didn't really like hats of any kind but still. She is now 3 yrs old and loves them, in fact she has out grown them and cannot wait until Dec so she can get some more.

DS10 wore his gold ones daily while we were there May 05. May 06 he got pirate ones and not only did he wear them every day there, he wore them to the theater the 3x's we went to see POTC! I don't know if he'll get a pair this year or not, but I'll be wearing my Graduation Cap ears!!!!

My DD and I wear the ears. My boys did not think they were "cool". But they liked the stitch ears and wore them.

My girls wore them a few days in the parks when we bought them. Plus I ALWAYS have them wear them again (or something Disney - last time it was Tinkerbell cowboy hats) on the plane when heading back down to the World on another trip!

They also wear them at home. This year we're heading back to Disney for the MNSSHP. My DD5 is going as Minnie Mouse and is wearing her ears from when she was 2!

Here's picture of my DS and DDad... My DS wore this hat until the very end of our trip. And look at the picture below... He wore it on top of his Stitch Hat... LOL

And yes they are worth it. I keep the hats in safekeeping where I can see them and remember the trip memories and dreaming of the next.

As stated in another thread, I am making a goodie bag for the folks I am taking to Disney. Is there a way to purchase Mickey Ears before you go? I want to have them so right when we arrive I surprise them with the bag. They can then get their name on it if they wish.

I wish I had a digital photo to share, but on our trip in 2004 my autistic, DS10 insisted on pink minnie ears! He's so uninhibited and just loves life! His older brother was mortified, but it was truly charming!

I wear the ears. I have a pair of Mickey Sorceror ears and a pair of Stitch ears. They are really comfortable and light. I forget they're on my head and then wonder why people are grinning at my head
