What is up with that? Everytime we go on vacation to WDW, someone is always coming home sick and the others are sick once we get back. Is it the germs on the rides, on the plane, or the full tilt pace that exhausts their little immune systems?
I guess there's nothing you can do to avoid it, other than handwashing and general good hygiene practices, and maybe getting enough sleep/rest. It just seems like every time we try to sneak a few days off from school, it backfires on us when we get home adding a couple MORE days sick time!

So far, no one has been sick upon returning from a trip.
Now my kids are pretty young and the baby doens't really touch anything but has asthma so he can get something just by hearing someone has a cold. I swear. I'm totlaly wiping everything, washing hands, etc but they find their way to our family.
Altitude sickness.
) and the only instance we had was when we went 12/2004.... about 4 days after we got back, my then 4 yr old DD had INFLUENZA... it was the year of the flu shot shortage. My DH and then 2 yr old DD followed (I have NO idea how I escaped it
) They were all miserably sick for nearly 3 weeks over Christmas/New Year's.... thankfully it didn't happen DURING the trip
