No, I don't.
It's because I have friends from all over the world, so referring to 'a friend' isn't hard to explain. I just tell them it's from a message board I frequent.

Most of you guys are from places my friends know I've never been, or wouldn't have met anyone from there. It'd be hard to explain. I just say 'My friend' or 'someone' but usually not with close friends because then they'd be like 'WHO?'
It's just annoying. The other night I told my friend I was talking to a girl from Tennessee (Shelby lol) and she was like 'Oh right, that old friend you met on your trip to Tennessee.'

My friends don't know. My family does to an extent, but I think they assume I'm just reading the forums to learn about Disney World and learn tips and whatnot...lol.

My friends do know that I love Disney, so I don't think it would suprise them. They WOULD make fun of me, though. A lot. Because my friends are jerks.

my friend that i met on neopets (rotfl yup) is coming to stay with us for a few days at the end of the month, and my friends are def. gonna be asking where we met haha. whenever i talk about her i say 'my friend from michigan'..no one ever questions whether or not i went to michigan haha..but im sure once she gets here and meets my friends they'll be like...'soo how'd you guys meet?' might be an embarassing story, but we DID meet when we were like 13, so it's not AS embarassing--not like we're on neopets now lol.
