Do you work from home?

I have recently resigned my job and am now searching for another. I have taught kindergarten for 7 years, but I am considering a complete career change. I love working on the computer, but I'm unsure as to how to use my skills for an at-home job and how to find such jobs. Any ideas?

I appraise houses. It can be hard to get into, but for me it works well. I am away from the house for about 3 hours in the morning (but it is how you make the schedule) then I have my typing to do while the kids are in bed.
Now that the kids are in school for a half a day, next year full day.....I work then and I am home when they are home.
Great job, great pay!! Well once the training process is over.

I work from home as an eBay seller. My living expenses are low to start with, it isn't the most lucritive business on the planet but it works for me because I get my inventory for free and I save almost $1000/month in childcare by working at home. I am recently divorced and every I know gives me their thrift store donations to sort through. 90-95% I send back to the thrift store but I do find enough profitabale items to keep my busy listing. eBay is no get rick quick scheme, but since I farmed for 8 years my opinion of "hard work" may not be normal and I do honestly enjoy the challenge of working in an ever changing business environment. I get to spend the day with my kids and I work really hard late into night. This is only temporary for me - I'll be getting a real job in the fall when DD starts preschool.
