Do you wear it again?

Yes! Dh and I will definitely wear shorts/capris/pants more than 1 day. I usually overpack for WDW but end up wearing my favorites. Tops/shirts - no, but pants yes.

I overpack but I always seem to wear my favorite shorts/jeans/capris more than once! I almost always come home with clothes I didn't wear! I will occasionally wear a shirt again as long as I didn't sweat in it or stain it. I normally travel in February. Now my sister on the other hand sweats to the point where she went to see a Dr. because of it. She does not repeat clothes.

I usually am able to wear shorts or Capri's more than once. I always wear a different shirt. DH never re-wears clothes...sweats too much and is OCD like that. DD usually gets her clothes dirty so she goes through at least 2 outfits a day. I bring enough that we don't do laundry until we get home (I just bring stain stick with us) However, with the airlines charging for extra bags...we may have to rethink the "doing laundry" on vaca thing.

We take those light cargo shorts that are just like swimsuits. They can be easily washed out that night in the room, hung over the shower rod and they dry quickly. We rotate 2 pairs each and can go the whole week!

:laundy: :wizard:

we pack enough for one clean outfit (top, shorts, sox, undies) each day

Does anyone know if they sell detergent at the resorts, or do I need to bring some from home? I'm soooo dying to do laundry on vacation :laundy:

I do laundry twice a week. I bring enough clothes for the trip but I hate to bring home dirty clothes. Whenever I come back from Disney, I usually unpack my bags and put the clothes right into the dresser or closet. :goodvibes When I stay in a timeshare (which is most of the time) I put a load of clothes in the wash right before I go to bed. When I get up in the morning, I put the load in the dryer before I take my am shower. My husband usually folds the clothes while he watches the 11 o'clock news. We have a system. :laundry:

I rewear pants/shorts, unless they get dirty. Shirts I won't, but definitely pants. I just don't have that many that I feel good in. :-) Last trip was the first we've ever done laundry in Disney. This time only going for 4 days, so prob not, unless absolutely necessary. I overpack for my DD/3 though. She just has SO many cute clothes that NEED to be worn. And, she's a bit messier than me.

I am a major OVER-packer, but for this trip I am really going to try to cut back. We are going for 6 days, and I am planning taking only 4 pair of shorts, so 1 or 2 pair will get re-worn. As for shirts, I will take one for each day plus 3 extra. So, pants/capris/shorts may be re-worn, shirts won't be.

I'm with yall i'm an over packer and i'll try to pack less in my 2008 trip:cheer2: :yay:

I usually am an overpacker, but I've gotten better in the last few years. I always try to bring a couple pairs of shorts/capris that I can wear with a couple different shirts. Then I bring a tank top (or two or three) and a t-shirt to go with each pair of shorts. I swear by the tanks with built in bras because I get uncomfortable in regular bras and with the sweating its miserable. I'm always cold so then I also bring a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt that pretty much matches any outfit for the evenings. It's a good idea to pick up a travel bottle of Febreze so you can refresh clothes if you get sweaty or want to wear something again. If need be you can buy a sweatshirt or tank top from Disney...hey, you needed a souvenier anyway!

I did way over pack -
now I am better.
We take enough for three days plus
and do the laundry on the thirdish day -
Another perk of DVC having the washer and dryer.
I use the soap there and bring more powder soap and some dryer sheets.
I can do the towels, too.
I dislike bringing home a suitcase of stinky clothes.

:cool1:

The last time we went it was January and we did not sweat at all of course, most days long sleeves felt really good. If our clothes were not stained then we would wear things twice. I hate to pack too much.

I will not do laundry on vacation unless it's a neccessity. I would buy a t-shirt before I would spend time doing laundry. Laundry has a hard time getting done while I'm not on vacation!
I always overpack. I plan on one shorts outfit(usually knit)/one dressier dinner outfit (skirt or capris) per day. THEN I throw a bunch of useless clothes on top of all that! I'm the worst packer. When I look around everything I see ends up in the suitcase. :rotfl:

Now if it's summer time, NO. I get too hot and sweaty. In the winter it's ok unless I've spilled something then I wash and wear.

Just remembered, one thing DH and I did last fall was to pack undies, jammies & socks that were on their last legs. We tossed them in the trash after we used them and had more room in our luggage for the junk we bought on vacation.

Like others, I will do laundry mid trip. It allows me to pack less, but also allows me to not worry about the kids messing up their clothes and not having enough ...just in case.
