Do you watch tv shows outside your demographic?

Im all over the place, but when Im watching a program and they have a bunch of sexual enhancement commercials, I know they figuring older guys who like sex are watching this, LOL

I’m 59 and watch Riverdale, but that’s because I was a fan of the comics and cartoon show and singing group when I WAS in that demographic.

The Bold Type - even though I'm more the age of their boss, Jacqueline, or all their mothers.

I enjoyed the Twilight and Hunger Games movies.

I enjoyed them too, as well as Divergent.

I binge-watched Charmed, (the original series.)

I loved the Harry Potter series, more to read than the movies, as so much was edited out of the films due to time. Although, by all accounts, that is very much a multi-generational series.

OMG I loved that show when it was being shown on syndication. I would get home from school and watch the episodes. I think I was in middle school though. I've had a hard time finding the episodes they aired in the U.S. though I know they changed things around from its original format for some things. I'd love to be able to rewatch them.
Hulu has it

I used to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And Smallville, the one about Superman as a teenager. I would watch those with my daughter. I started watching Riverdale and liked it, but missed some episodes so need to catch up. I have to admit though, the storyline with Archie and Miss Grundy bothered me. But I worked in a high school for many years and looked at it as child abuse and just wrong.

Very, very, very few shows are fargeted at anyone over 49 (reality shows 18-34, most other tv 18-49): The Golden Girls, Frankie and Grace, Murphy Brown to a degree.

No, I watch very little tv. Hard for me. I can sit and read. But not sit and watch tv. It's mind numbing, to me. Try once going a week with out turning on the tv, you would surprised at how peaceful your house will be.

I think I'd go nuts! I love to read, but I can't do boring things like housework without some background noise. - Sometimes it's the radio, but more likely the TV (just on something I don't really have to follow closely.)

I watch shows I find appealing. With some, I have no idea who the intended 'demographic' is and don't really care. While it may be obvious the intended audience for something like the Disney channel, with most other shows I have no idea. Is the 'demographic' for American Idol different from the Voice or America's Got Talent (or any of those 'reality' shows now in various formats)?

I guess as I age, shows about young adults like Big Bang Theory are becoming less & less my demographic. But, I don’t currently enjoy anything aimed younger than that.

Man, I watch more cartoons than anything and can easily watch some live-action kid's show on Disney Channel, etc. I never really grew out of them. I currently like Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Big City Greens, and Star Wars: Resistance. I deplore most "teen" or "Millennial" geared things, like, well, everything on The CW. I just can't. The funny thing is I never could, as even when I was like 20 I hated all the stuff that was "for me" preferring either older-skewing shows or, again, cartoons. Cartoons rule all.

I have no idea about most of the shows mentioned above. I watch TV mostly on Thursdays, Big Bang, Young Sheldon and Mom.
