Do you video tape?

Take the camera!! I have on all but our last trip, and I wish I took it then. I'm the one who wears it around my neck, and I've been known to just turn it on, and tape us walking around through the parks, through the resorts, even on rides. The reactions are priceless, especially our younger DD. When we get home, DH converts everything to DVDs, complete with an opening and credits, and since we're digital, our still pics are a slide show at the end.

When I'm down and missing WDW, I pop in a tape, or a DVD, and I can remember how happy I felt walking around there. And II can listen to my favorite music. :flower:

I do agree that when you film you kind of miss the whole experience of WDW. Last Dec. we took the camera with us. It was just Dh and me, no kids this time and I have to admit it felt weird being the star of the movies....I missed not being able to film my kids. But since it was the MVMCP, and a cruise we ended up filming quite a bit so we could show the kids....what they missed out on LOL!

I will bring the camera again in JUly and film the character meals, and my kids during the character interaction. DD just loves Chip n Dale.

I have to admit that I don't watch them alot though, just noticing how quickly my kids are growing makes me a bit nostalgic, and if they don't ask to see the home movies I keep them in drawer so that one day I can show their boyfriends how cute they were when they were kids!!!!

When me & my family went to Disney, we always brought the video camera, & now we have many hrs. of Disney memories. Maybe one day I'll ask my fiance to convert the tapes over to dvd, just in case something happens to the VHS tapes.
