do you use online check in?

We arrive 11-15 for a 9 day stay at AKL. We have a standard room. We are hoping for a location near bus pick up. Is it best to use online check in and then fax a request? The online only asks for near lobby or high or low floor. We have always gotten great rooms at all the other resorts by faxing. The one time we did not we were so far from everything at the resort. Do you have better luck if you online check in or personally check in???

I did online check in for both of our reservations this summer and got what I requested both times (at CR - wanted ground floor, at BC - a full balcony).

Whether you do Online Check In or not makes no difference in having your requests granted or not.

If you fax or call in requests, just skip that section during Online Check In.

I always do on line check in and also just go ahead and go to the front desk and check in when I arrive. Doesn't hurt to check in on line and doesn't hurt to go to the front desk.

We always check in online. I've heard it's the best way to get the requests fulfilled. We have a standard room at Pop Century and am hoping our requests near transportation are met.

I always do online check in, mostly because I'm impatient. For me, it's part of the pre-trip fun. I think it's a 50/50 as far as getting requests though. I've never faxed requests, so not sure on that.

We do online check in, yeah. It's mainly because we're too excited to wait. We used the online check in drop down box to put in general requests and also faxed that we'd like to be as close to transportation as possible. We both have bum legs this year, and every foot closer to the bus stop helps.
