Sorry newbie over here, we are avid DCL cruisers and have a great travel planner. Are there any perks with using a TA to book with RC?
THANKS!!

We use Dreams Unlimited Travel, the sponsors of the DIS Boards, for both our DCL and RC cruises. Dreams gives us on board credit and a gift basket of useful gadgets to use on board.

I use Karen Adamankis here at Dreams Unlimited and she's been great! One benefit to using a TA on RC is that RC has a "Best Price Guarantee" for their cruises right now where if your cruise goes down in price, RC will give you onboard credit for the difference. I've been keeping an eye on the price of my cruise in November and when I asked Karen to check for price difference with RC, she was able to call and save me a total of just over 600 dollars from what I paid originally. I didn't have to wait on hold or anything. I sent her an email, she did the legwork, and got back to me within 2 hours of me originally reaching out. I'm VERY appreciative of her effort on my behalf! I was able to focus on work rather than spend any time on hold with the cruise line.

The TA can also make sure that medical things are considered as well. I travel with a CPAP and Karen is always sure to make sure to include that on my new reservations to make sure RC supplies me with an extension cord and/or gallon of distilled water for my humidifier!

TAs can sometimes get slightly better rates than what you see on the RC website too!

We use Costco travel, they give you a Costco cash card plus I believe you also get 2% back if you are an executive member. I am in Canada not sure if in USA it is any different
