Lucky you! 5th time of jury duty? I always wanted to serve on a jury but most likely never will because of my career.

The day I was mentioning was closing arguments. The judge wanted them to get through it and then be finished prior to doing any major break for lunch. It was just awkward timing, but I felt for the jury because that was a long time between breakfast/lunch and having to sit there.

I'm surprised they were able to follow a schedule like that for you most days, normally they try to go with the natural flow of testimonies rather than having a hard schedule like that. Here, their lunches would usually be anywhere for 45 mins between 11:00am-1:00pm just depending on what was happening on that particular day.
Well, I am 67 so I have been "eligible" for Jury Duty for almost 50 years. So once every 10 years isn't bad. I have heard some people complaint they get called every 2 years.
That is an interesting point, in my current case they don't seem to pay any attention to flow of testimony, when we hit break time, we take our break, and we pick up where we left off when we come back. We did go long yesterday by almost 15 minutes, 4:45 pm, and the Bailiff had to notify someone. The Courthouse is locked up at 5 pm, and the Jury Park lot closed.

I have two: an insulated 24 oz metal bottle for work and home, and a 52 oz Nalgene bottle for outdoors.

I carry one everywhere as I only like cold water and it’s the only thing I drink after my 1 tea in the morning. What size depends on what I’m doing and how long I’m out…I have many!

I have several water bottles and straw cups, from cute holiday ones to a large pink Yeti that keeps water cold in the car in the summer. The one I use most often is a purple (BPA free) plastic one I got at the grocery store. I think it holds 20 ounces.
