Do you use a bread maker machine

Another clunky appliance to take up counter space, first at home, then at Goodwill when you finally get tired of it. Use your KitchenAid.
I would but I absolutely stink at the proofing process. I haven't met a yeast mix I can't wreck so it's like the opposite of a green thumb, but with yeast, so I'm hoping a machine can save me from myself

Start with fresh yeast (keep it in a jar in the fridge) and mind the temperature of the liquid. Proof in an oven with the oven light on.

I have a Hamilton Beach that I use sparingly. I have made pepper dill bread and pizza dough (more often). It works like a champ as I didn't feel the need to invest in a more expensive model.

We had a Hamilton Beach one that we got as a wedding present (my best man worked for the company at the time). We used it off and on for a couple years, but stopped eating bread enough to make it worth bothering anymore, so we got rid of it maybe 15 years ago.

I have three unused bread machines somewhere in my garage -- mine and two that I inherited. I made one or two loaves but decided it wasn't worth the effort.

I keep getting great suggestions on here for all sorts of things so here is another request for a good bread maker, brands please :)

I keep reading about all the junk we eat and so I'm thinking maybe an easy to use bread maker might be a good gadget. It used to seem like an expensive device but tnow that I am paying $8 a loaf of bread I imagine it would pay for itself quickly, plus better bread.

I would like something where I can drop in healthy ingredients of my choice and end up with bread that only has those ingredients, plus I bet the smell would be lovely.
First, if you are paying $8 a loaf for bread, find a different store!!!
Bread runs $1.48 for plain white bread to $5.98 for the Daves Killer Organic Powerseed, which is the most expensive here.
We had a bread machine, forget what brand, and it made delicious bread. But we got rid of it because:
1) We were eating too much bread and getting calories and carbs were didn't need.
2) All that yeast........well......let's just say it disrupted our digestive tracts.
