It is that time of year again, Fall. I love to use mine in the Fall/Winter! :cool1: So do you use one?

Yes, but I use it to make pizza dough.

Yes! Same here, the bread machine is about to make its appearance. We usually make homemade sauce and fresh bread for the weekends. mmmmm

My mom uses her bread machine on a weekly basis. She never thought she would, she was a big yeast roll maker for years and didn't think anything could be better: I guess she found out otherwise! It must be a pretty good one too, she has had it for about 4-5 years.

I did used to use it a lot, now not so much. I have my own personal bread maker now called DH who loves baking. :)

I bring mine out only during the cooler months. I love the smell of bread baking!

Funny you should ask today. I, at this very moment, have my bread machine programed to have a loaf ready at 5 tonight. It is the first time we have used it this year.

We use it alot in fall/winter for a quick meal. We heat up some of those chunky type soups and have that with fresh bread. Quick and easy meal.

yes....

a year ago I stumbled upon one at a yard sale, bought it for $10 from a little old lady, had the original paperwork and receipt with it, she paid well over 100 for it...upon my arrival home I proceeded to look at the original recipe book that was with it, she had written comments beside each recipe she tried,, I know which were her favorites and which made her hubby too gassy....LOL

my bread machine instantly became the hit of all family get togethers, whenever a holiday get together is planned my sisters request that I bring bread...

I like to have fun while cooking. so for Christmas I colored the white bread red, and the whole wheat was green,,,

for easter we had yellow and purple bread...

I've always thought about buying one but I get there and hate to part with the money. I make bread weekly the "old fashioned" way and it would be a great thing to have one but I get very frugal when I see the price tag. Maybe someday I'll overcome my yankee ways and buy one. Until then, I'll live vicariously through you guys! :)

I love my bread machine. Use it all year. Just made italian white bread last week to go with my stuffed shells. YUM!

I have one, but haven't used it for awhile. I still have to buy store-bought bread because I can't cut it thin enough for sandwiches. Williams-Sonoma has some really great bread mixes. My favorite is the chocolate cherry bread, but it's really more like cake.

but only when we have more then us.........I got the bread knife from pampered chef and can cut really thin slices....

I want one...I'm thinking for Christmas. Anyone have any recommendations on which one I should get?

but you do not need an expensive one....try walmart or even ebay.....40 dollars is enough,......just make sure you can make up to 2 lbs....especially when you want a bigger loaf

If you check the Robin Hood site they have some great recipies for bread machines,
One of my favorite is the apple pie bread.(you use a tin of pie mix)
Smells so good baking
Oh my now i'm hungry

I usually use my machine, but I also enjoy making quick or yeast breads, too.

I love my Zojirushi that I bought a few years ago, but I think there are other cheaper yet quality made one's nowadays.

I have one but do not use it anymore. It's packed away. I just make it the traditional way now. I don't know why.

I love my bread machine. It's a Breadman Ultimate that I got at Kohls for about $100. The smells it gives off are heavenly. :) I usually use the bread mixes just because they are easy, but someday I will try all of the wonderful recipes in my bread machine cookbook!
