Do you try to make different ADRs for every trip?

We also mix it up. Ohana's and Mexico are a must. The funny thing about Mexico is I think we go there more the atmosphere instead of the food.

We do try to make different ressies each trip. I think at this point I have been to every sig, TS, and CS with the exception of Akerkus, nine dragons, trail's ens and turf club (and a few resort cs's). So we do make some usual stand bys. Sometimes we travel "big" and eat at many sig places (usually just dh and I) if we are travelling with family we mix it up and add things like O"hana, prime time etc. So it depends on the vibe. Also I hate repeating things 2 or 3 trips in a row so I mix it up like that.

::yes:: We have only been once but for our next trip we have only 2 ADRs for places we have been: 'Ohana and Tony's. They are our first and last night traditions. This trip we will be trying Le Cellier, Sci-Fi, Marrakesh, Boma, Crystal Palace, Beaches, and T-Rex Cafe. :thumbsup2

We made a rule at the beginning of our planning - no repeat restaurants. We wanted to try new ones. Now, 6 months out from our trip we have decided to repeat the following:
Crystal Palace (a request from dd6)
Akershus - although we are doing dinner this time (we did breakfast last time)
Chef Mickeys- same as Akershus
CRT - breakfast this time, lunch last time
Boma - we are staying at AKL so its easy
Hollywood & Vine Play & Dine lunch (another request from the kids)
Ohana - breakfast this time, dinner last time

We do have a few extras though.

We have the combo of old time favorites and newbies. It's exciting to try new restaurants!

Our repeats are:

CRT breakfast (must do)
Plaza (just found this last trip and it's a must do now)

Every other trip:
CP breakfast (last trip my husband said we have to move this up to a must do EVERY trip now!)
Askershus (we've done bfst, lunch and dinner...love them all)
Chef Mickey's (dinner)

In May we are trying for the first time:
Mama Melrose (F! package)
50's primetime (this has been on my list for a long time!)
Tony's
Mickey's BYBBQ

We have also enjoyed Biergarten, Liberty Tree Tavern, Ohana's, 1900 Park Faire. We loved all these, but there's not enough days if I want to include our favorites and add some new ones each trip.

I try to add in as many new places as possible...we leave this afternoon and our new places are:

GFC breakfast
Sci Fi lunch
Wave dinner
Tonys dinner

We always try new places. The only one we've repeated has been Kona, because we love the coffee and Tonga Toast!

We definitely have favorites, but we have 8 days worth of ADRs for June and didn't repeat a single one. There's too many that i want to try and I was afraid that if I went to a repeat then i would have wished that I had tried something new. Just hoping that i don't try the new and wish that i had booked the repeat, LOL!!!

The other problem is that we have a DS2 going with us who tends not to have a lot of patience with sitting at tables for long periods of time waiting for food. While I would love to try places like Tutto Italia, The Wave, Spoodles, etc, I would be stressed and not enjoy my meal if he got cranky so we booked a ton of character meals that we haven't tried.

Although we tend to eat at our favourites, we have tried to do at least one new restaurant once in awhile. Sometimes we add these new ones to our list of favourites and sometimes, it goes on the list of "maybe we'll try it again in a few years" or some just end up in the "not ever again" list.:)

We have tried most of the ones in the theme parks, however, we tend to eat at the restaurants at the resorts where we stay with the exception of Ohana's, Kona, Chef Mickey, 1900 Park Fare, and the no longer open Concourse Steakhouse, where we usually eat there at least once each vacation. With restaurants like Boma, Whispering Canyon, Cape May Cafe, Spoodles, and Captain's Grille, we have only eaten there when we are staying at those resorts.

We always try to do new ones - but we have a hard time because we've eaten at all the ones we've wanted to eat at - some several times. Tuto is a first time this trip - not big on Italian - all the others are repeats.

We are like a lot of people here. It is a mixed bag between oldies, favorites, and new experiences. This trip we are going to return to 50's Prime Time (oldest DS favorite) and Boma, Chef Mickey's (done before, but not in a while) and then Sanaa (new restaurant opening at AKV-Kidani), Liberty Tree Tavern, Plaza, or Tony's at MK, and either Teppan Edo, Les Chefs de France, Nine Dragons, or Tutto Italia at Epcot (depending on which I can get when I call in the ADRs). We will also do Kona Cafe one evening (done Ohana's but never Kona) and return to Flame Tree BBQ at AK which we really like too.
