Or do you have your "standbys" that you always order at a particular restaurant? I'm sort of a mixture of both, I guess!

When we do a non-buffet, I tend to stick with what I know and love. Buffets are when I go all out and try everything--just a little in case I don't like it. This trip I tried the pasta luncheon sampler at Italy and only liked the alfredo off of it--the gnochi and lasagna were tepid and really flavorless.
The experimenting is ok, but I've learned to order what the restaurant is famous for. I won't make that mistake again.

I love trying out new items especially at Disney restaurants, except at the Brown Derby. DH & I always get 'the' original Cobb salad (in fact, this is the only place where we eat Cobb salad which makes it even more special), Orecchiete pasta, and grapefruit cake. If they ever get rid of these items, we'd be totally lost. :teeth:

Also, on our last trip, we ordered chocolate malt shakes at almost all the places we went to--Plaza Inn, Sci-Fi....

I like to try different stuff - except at Artist Point where I always stick with that heavenly cedar plank salmon!
