Do you "trash pick"?

I don't! I seem to have to much stuff in my house already! But with that being said, I do intentionally sit good stuff out for others to take. We have gotten rid of baby items this way. Baby swing, highchair, gate, etc. Other good stuff too. I hate to ebay and/or yard sale. So my DH and I end up sitting it out hoping that it will be gone before the trash man gets there in the morning.....

hmmm....didn't know that. Guess you learn something new every day!

Bedbugs don't live IN THE WOOD! But they can live in the cracks and crevices of the wooden furniture. Which if you are careful can still be used. Just make sure that you inspect the furniture with a flashlight and clean it really well.

I went to pick up my son at college yesterday. I was shocked at the amount of "good stuff" that was in the garbage.....plastic hangers, plastic drawer units, carpets, etc, etc. I am some of the parents walking by the dumpster had the same thought as I......If my son wasn't with me, I would of been shoving a bag full of perfectly good plastic hangers in my van. Somehow, we never have enough hangers..:confused3

Last week, DH picked up a free lawnmower at a yard sale. It wasn't working. DH is a small-engine mechanic, so he fixed it, did a tune up and sold it for a $60 profit. Not bad for trash picking.
