Do you tour the parks in the same order each year?

Normally we find ourselves almost repeating the same park touring order over and over again. We usually start with MK, then epcot, MGM studios and finally Animal kingdom.. then we repeat what we want to see again.

This is the first year we are not following that order. Seems kind of strange.

So for those of you who go to WDW repeatedly.. do you tour the parks in a certain order or change it each time?

Nope - ea vacation is different
this Aug we wont be making it to MK till our 4th day, not to MGM till our 8th!

Same for us. Used to depend on the EE day for the park. We would avoid those parks. Now with the new EMH, we will have to wait to see what the days and evenings will be. We are staying onsite and will definitely use the late EMH, but not the early ones. We will probably avoid the parks with the early EMH on those days.

Our first day is ALWAYS MK. Then we loosely base the rest of the trip on EMH until we've hit all 4 parks and the 2 water parks. My DH loves to hop. He'll want to do things like go to EPCOT for breakfast then MGM for the day then to MK for fireworks as an example.

Because of the new tickets this is the first year we aren't doing the water pasks. Not sure if we'll be able to take it and we might just by a one day pass anyway once we are there.

We don't really do them in the same order every year. Sometimes it's the same but that happens without us realizing it. The only park that is set in stone as far as a specific day is MK because we ALWAYS do MK as our first park. That really starts the trip off right for us

I've only been twice now and both times the first day is Epcot because it is open later than the rest. We arrive that day and by the time we unpack the van and get things organized we have wasted alot of time and there isn't as much to see there than the rest of the parks. We also arrived x2 on Sunday. Last day is always AK because it is the park that closes first and then we always head to my in-laws in Clearwater to finish our lovely vacation. The in between days vary depending on PS that are made and the days Spectro and wishes is available. The EMH and the extended hrs. never affect us, we show up at a park weither the parks are or not.
