I am wondering how many of you tip housekeeping.

I am also wondering if you tip daily, or at the end of your stay.

And if you don't mind telling; how much do you tip?

I am thinking about $4/day, paid each day and left in an adorable little Disney-decorated envelope. :) :) :)

Is this too much or too little? <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

Between $3 and $5 a day (depends on whether we have enough $1's on us) for the 3 of us.....

All it takes is faith & trust....and a little bit of Pixie Dust!

We tipped daily about $3 a day (we did concierge service). You may get more then one housekeeper (or we call them mousekeepers) during your stay so tip daily.

I have to say I do most of the time, but not always. It depends on whether the service warrants it or not. Happily, it usually does. : )When we do, we tip daily (as the housekeeping staff may change) and tip $1 per person for day...$3 for us. :)

Thanks guys. :) Looks like I'm 'right on' with $4/day ($1/each of us)...and tipping each day will ensure fairness, should the staff change. :)

I've made up the cutest envelopes. :) Can't wait. :)

I did the same thing - I left $1/person/day each day, and had the envelopes preprinted with the day and a different character for each one. I put the tip money in ahead of time, and left the envelopes unsealed. That way, if I wanted to, I could either add to or take away, depending on the service. I ended up adding to on the last day (I also left a bigger tip than just a normal day - I think it was $10).

The housekeeper got a huge kick from our envelopes, and would share them with her friends each day. :smooth:
