Do you think we need a rental car with free didning??

We are a family of 2 adults, 1 child. We are heading to CSR for 10 days, 9 nights. We are also going with sis and her family (2 adults 2 kids) and my 2 parents. At first, I thought renting a car is the only way, esp since we may go to some resorts to eat. Now, between all of us and how many days we are staying, I am not so sure if it is cost effective.

The only place I think we are really going to do is Boma at AKL on any rest day. The rest will be at resorts located near the park we are at. I figure a few taxi trips might not be so bad since getting 2-3 cars between us and possible valet parking etc.. will add up.

Opinions???

yes - the cheapest I could get was about $389 for 10 days. Thats a little much - plus we all won't be together every minute of everyday - so I hate to spend all that money if someone still needs to utilize buses while 2 people have the huge van.

I guess buses are our best option
