Sept 11 will be on our own. Flying home that day. Will go to Goofy's to use up alot of snack credits.

We have 42 Table Services each and 28 Snacks each.

It's just DH and I so we will have plenty of time for the world.

How does this look to everyone. Will we make it to all of our ADR's?

I'll second that! WOW! Not a lot of time from breakfast to lunch to digest. At least for me. Have a great time.

I was thinking the same thing.. For my tastes, not enough time between big meals.... I would plan something more like 8am, 2pm, 8-9pm. But, that's just us.

why are you eating so many sitdowns???

I prefer eating around the parks mostly for breakfast/lunch and then eating at fine dining place on and off site for dinner...

I think many of these are too close in time. These are all large meals, and you have to take into account that you may not get seated immediately when you arrive, and even if you do, you have to then order the food and wait for it to be served before you even start eating it. While you might make it to the next reservation, I'm wondering if you'll be hungry enough to enjoy the next meal.

We're on the DXDDP too, but we're only doing 2 tables service meals a day, an early lunch and a late dinner at a signature. Where we have extra credits, we'll split a CS meal for breakfast so we're hungry by the time it gets to lunch.

I personally couldn't do 3 sit down meals a day, but if you think you'll enjoy it then go for it.

I don't think you'll be able to get to the ADRs on last couple days. You're not going to be able to fit through the door!

All kidding aside, I can't imagine eating that much. So many of those are all-you-can-eat places - and even in the al-a-carte places, WDW portions are often really big. Obviously you really like Crystal Palace - did I count five times?

Of course you can be on time if you plan for it. :confused3 I guess I am not understanding the question. Do I think you'll be too full? ::yes:: Do I think you can be on time? I guess it depends on your travel habits and how early you leave for your ADRs.

I think your meals are way too close together.Sure you can make it time wise, but do you want to spend all day just traveling in and out of table service restaurants?Figure you need to arrive at each at least 10 mins prior to adr time and all of your choices are literally all over the world...alot of traveling from park to resort to another park.Plus this is ALOT OF FOOD, you are going to be stuffed.

like everyone else said, sure youll make it to the ADRs, but will you still be hungry?

although looking at it agian there sure is a lot of park hopping going on. im assuming you have your own car?

I think it's great . I'm eating 2-3 times a day. It's all you can eat but it doesn't mean you have to eat until you are too full to move! Sitting down will allow some down time and of course get extra fluids in. It's really hot in the summer so you'll enjoy the air conditioning. Since you are going for so long I highly doubt that you'll miss any of the parks. When we go we'll eat for about 4 hours a day but we will be touring the parks for about 8-10 . That's alot of time in the parks with crowds. Sadly we are only going 8 days.

I was thinking the same thing.. For my tastes, not enough time between big meals.... I would plan something more like 8am, 2pm, 8-9pm. But, that's just us.

Originally tried to 8 - 2 - 8 thing..still have it for a couple of days during my vacation, but I figure 1 - 1/12 hours for breakfast/lunch, keeping breakfast and lunch the same park to eliminate travel time...then dinner at the different resorts. The more I thought about it, it was really only giving us 3-4 park hours. Im with a 4 yr old and a 68 year old. They would need a break after lunch / before dinner. I then changed a lot of the ressies and now am doing 9:00am breakfasts (finish around 10 - 10:30) and 5:00pm signature dinners. We still have 2 snack credits per day to hold us over if necessary. On the days we are going to do the 8 - 2 - 8, we most likely will have those extra snack credits too.

I loved the idea of having 21 places to choose from with the deluxe plan, but came to realize I want to see the parks too!!!

I think my concern is fitting everything else in. You have to give 1-1.5 eat. Then figure in transportation (bus or car and parking) if changing parks etc...

When will you have time to do anything in the parks, or don't you care about that? I know some people go to Disney for other reasons than the attractions! (GASP!) :)

Agree, you can make it on time as long as you leave yourself enough time to get around. Also guessing the real question is How Do These ADRs look? :confused3
Seems like a lot of food and time sitting eating it. On the other hand it will be hot and you will want the break. You shouldn't be too tired as you will get a break to sit and rest.
You should be fine though. As someone said, you don't have to eat everything set in front of you.

Can you make it on time? YES

Will you want to? :confused3 Just looking at your schedule is making my stomach nauseous. :rotfl: I would never do the deluxe plan, but if I did, I would sub at least one of those TS a day for CS. But it's YOUR trip and if this is what fits yours style, I hope you have a genuinely awesome time. :goodvibes Can you give us a dining trip report when you get back? I'd be anxious to read how it works out for you.

quick question - are you planning on treating some of the TS as CS? Someone pointed out you have a lot of Crystal Palace on there...I can see just going in for a quick plate of food instead of spending an hour+ refilling and doing the whole character thing. Time-wise and food quantity-wise that would make more sense, although financially it wouldn't since if you have to pay tips OOP I figured you'd want to get your money's worth.

I agree that is a LOT of food but it is also a lot of time spent in restaurants. You had better have a car or you will be spending all your time getting from one restaurant to the next.

DH and I did the DDP (not deluxe) twice. The first time was 6 days and the second was 5. We found that to be plenty of food. Last trip we stayed off site but ate at many Disney restaurants. Most of the time I had an appetizer and salad and dessert, DH had an entree. Next trip we will be on site again but I don't think we'll do the dining plan because I don't like having to select an entree.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks for all the information. I thought it would be alot of food. I can't decide if we should just do some of the TS meal and then change some to CS. We went for 9 days a few years ago paying for the regular plan. We had to pay OOP for alot of meals. Went I planed this I was thinking that we would have some down days so that is why we are eating at some of the resorts. We've decided to upgrade our 10 day passes to AP so that we can go to the parks all 14 days. We have an early flight in and a late flight out.

I was worried that all we would be doing is going from resturant to resturant. Seems like that is the case.

I am thinking that maybe we can change back to the DP. WE only have 300.00 more of our trip to pay.

Do you think that they would credit the upgrade back to us?

WE do like the CP and truefully I couldn't find any other places that we weren't going to already. I'm also worried about all the tips.

Thanks for you help. I'll try and see what we can do.

With a schedule like yours, I assume that you have no interest in visiting the parks as there will be no time allowed. You will be spending all of your time in transit going from one dining place to another and on a very full stomach.
