Ok, I have read all the tips and hints about riding RSR. We will be going in early March...not a huge "busy" time. Ive been considering it, and I dont think I want to waste my MM hour waiting online for the ride or waiting for the FP to open up. Do you think it is unrealistic to wait until Monday and/or Tuesday morning and hop into the single rider lines a few times (yes, assuming the ride doesnt go down :D)

We want to see it, Carsland wasn't open when we visited last spring. But I also dont want to center my entire time there worrying about getting onto the ride LOL

If you have an early entry to DCA, which currently you only get by staying onsite, I would get in the early entry RSR FP line about ten minutes prior to regular park opening. You will have RSR FPs in about ten minutes. Very easy. Otherwise, if you don't have early entry and single rider works for you, it is definitely one of the easiest strategies. Have fun!

Good advice!

If you have an early entry morning, it's totally possible to ride RSR with little to no wait. (Assuming it's running.)

We went last fall when it WAS busy. We got to the gates about 20 minutes before opening, and went straight to RSR. We didn't run or anything. We did use the wide-right tactic at we followed the CMs through Carsland. We were nowhere near the front of the line, but we only really waited for about 15 minutes (With another 5 just spent slowly following the queue along until the first people DID get to the front of the line.)

We did RSR and were on to the other Carsland rides in under a half an hour. It's completely doable with early entry. We always shook our heads at the people who just stood in line for that first hour to get fastpasses. Maybe go ahead and ride it once in the morning (if it's running) and then do as the PP suggested and hop in the FP line right before opening?
