Do you think this is wrong?

The other day I was in a trade room looking to trade my animator's desk and stool. The trade went down so the boy who I was trading with asked me to come to his room. The trade worked when we got to his room so he proceeded with his offer. He first offered the high school musical piano and an ice rug. Then I noticed he was wearing two teleportation magic (which I've been trying to find forever!). I asked him for one as an offer. He said this to me in the exact word, "I don't know, this a ive star and really cool." I ask him for it and he trades me the animator desk and stool for the "ive star" teleportation magic. Then I close the trade after and he boots me. I get suspicious and go to my room. I notice that it's a one star! Now, I know that I should be happy for getting even a one star, but my family had a strict thing about lying so I'm pretty mad. What do you think? :confused3

I'm sorry this happened, and apparently HIS family doesn't have a strict policy on lying. :sad2: Either that, or he lied anyway even though his parents have told him not to.

From now on, just assume that all pins are only 1-star, just so you won't get lied to again. It's a shame that we have to do this (assume everyone is lying), but unfortunately many people do lie.

Yeah, on the rare occasion I trade for magic, I automatically assume it's one star. I think if they insisted it was more, I'd make them try it out to show me.

Other than recharge speed, there is no advantage to having more than 1 star on a telportation pin. You still just go from one spot to another. The recharge time is not that long anyway. I always assume the magic is one star before trading, no matter how many stars the person says it is. In answer to your original question, yes it was very wrong for that person to scam you that way. In the future you might want to just write down the persons title so you can report them to vmk using the contact us form.
