Do you think this is a good price?

I thought I was set on booking OKW through disney and flights seperatly.....but I have just mamaged to get a price from Virgin £5339.40, this is for 22nd Sept for 2 weeks at AKL with 14 day park tickets, free dining and car hire

If I book hotel and park tickets with disney it will be £3187....that leaves £2152.40 for flights and car hire.....

Do you think the Virgin price is good????

Savannah view + DDP through WDW US website is $3058, although that's with 10 day tickets.

Still that's £2040 - much better!

We would then have to add on car hire and flights, which I'm thinking would take the cost higher than virgin?

Would you recomend AKL? are there any especially good or bad things about the resort?

My DH wants to stay at WL but my DS is a big animal fan, so I'm thinking this would be a fab treat for him.

We are all rebooked already!

We had a look around WL and liked it, but we aren't staying there next trip over the other resorts we are trying.

I don't think that is a bad price at all. I just priced up AKL for 1 adult and 1 child for next september and it wasn't much less than that.

It shows how much I am charged extra for being a solo adult traveling. I could take another adult with me and it would only cost about £200 more, one of the reasons I didn't mind paying for my sister to go with me in 08.

That seems a fair price - I just looked at Complete Orlando and they come in at a similar price for the same.

I would love to do AKL - am thinking April 2012 for that for us.

Thanks guys,

I phoned thomas cook to get a price and they asked me if I had a price already. I gave them the virgin price and they said they would see what they could do and call me back. They did call me back and the best they could do was £5500, she said that most were comming out at £6000.....she then wispered down the phone....go with Virgin, that price will not be beat, this shocked me, but welcomed the honesty
