Do you think the Jackson family will exploit Michael's children?

I have avoided the TV all day but turned on the evening news and saw MJ's oldest daughter speaking at the funeral. Michael Jackson was positively fierce about keeping his children out of the spotlight and I thought it was very sad that his family didn't take his wishes into consideration.

His father was famous for exploiting his own children, how sad that he may now have the power to do the same to his grandchildren.

Maybe I'm overreacting but all these years MJ was so extremely careful about his children and now their faces are plastered all over every magazine, etc.

I am one of very few it seems who has not seen the funeral or Paris speaking. I don't have cable, and havent seen any footage aside from what I read here.
But...my 2cents is this :
Yes, Michael wanted to keep his kids out of the spotlight.. but, this was still his memorial, and if his children wished to speak or be there, so be it. Michael was a public figure, but this was still a private moment. They've tuned out cameras before, I'm sure it's easy for them to do it again....

Michael was positively fierce about a number of weird things, including making his kids wear masks, veils and blankets over their heads.

I think they'll be okay.
