Do you think the Blue Man Group is worth seeing?

Blue Man is awesome! I saw them for the first time in NYC with DDs 8th grade class and the kids are still talking about it.

I had a problem too due to pop-up blockers. Try this link, it did eventually work for me after I shut the blocker off.

I am really looking forward to taking my kids to see this show. I know they will love it.

Ugghhhhh. That's the link I had, and I have all pop-up blockers turned off too. It starts out looking like it will go towards the BMG ticket screen, but then it changes into the AP ticket purchase screen. :confused3 Don't they know I am already a happy AP holder?! ;) Guess I have some sort of problem on my 'puter. Thanks anyway!

DH and I received tickets for Blue Man Group for our trip to Las Vegas last September. The tickets were definitely more than $55! We had no clue who they were or what the show was about. Oh my word, it was the BEST!! The most unique theater experience you will ever have! Even better than Stomp (off-Broadway)!

I'm trying to convince DH to go during our Universal stop in July. First off, I have to figure out when they'll be there and hope that it's on the day that we'll be at Universal. :goodvibes The $55 looks like a matinee show in the "poncho" section, which I definately would like to be in.

I've seen them twice in Boston and dh has seen the 4 times. I see no need for lots of multiple repeats, but you should definitely experience it once. I think your kids are the perfect age to really enjoy it.

Well it's official!!!!

DH bought the tickets today!!!! :cool1:  :cheer2:

We got front row seats in the poncho section during the matinee seating. WhooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot wait. Don't know which I'm more excited for...a week's stay at Disney or a Blue Man Group show!!!

BMG is going to be a lot of fun! Glad you got your tickets. Enjoy the show. Did you order your tickets online or on the phone?

I'm another one in the minority - we saw this in Boston a couple years ago and thought it was ok. I really didn't see what all the hype was about. My kids (11 and 9 now), enjoyed it, but I certainly wouldn't see a repeat performance.

We also saw Cirque de Soleil and thought is was ok. The acrobatics were really cool, but I'm not into the whole vibe of those shows. And I do love the theater, adore the ballet, and I am a museum freak.

Again, I know I'm in the minority, but just wanted to give my opinion.

We saw them for the first time in vegas about 3 years ago. Loved it. Liked it even more than Cique. Then we saw them in chicago, smaller stage but still great, I persueded my boss to take us there for work party which he did with everyones fasmilies 10 and up we all had a great time. We plan on going in October when we visit Florida will be a first for my DS 6. I think he will really like it because he loves anything drums, music type. He saw video at home and now watches it all the time. Plus he thinks they are goofy since they don't talk ang just use body language.

For those of you considering purchasing tickets for the 3pm and 6pm performances this summer of Blue Man at Universal....buy your tickets soon. I work at Universal and the rumor is they are raising the ticket prices for the earlier shows to match the the higher prices of the 9pm shows. Of course this is only a rumor but my source is pretty reliable.

Have a great time on your vacations!

Could someone please tell me what sitting in the "poncho section" means??:confused3 I have tickets in that section in June and didn't even realize it meant anything until I read this post.

You might get some flying debris on you - nothing like gallagher or anything. Maybe a little mushed twinkie. They don't aim for the audience but in the chance it does make it that far they don't want you to get anything on your clothes. I have been in poncho seats 4 times and never had any problems.
