do you think that DVC will do this?

I am missing something, what is wrong with not checking out prior to 11am. :confused3

Check out is 11 am so why would that be a problem or think that someone is joking about it.
I think the implication was that it was after 11 many times. I'm sure no one has an issue staying until the last minute legally.

Thanks Dean, I did not get that implication from Jodifa's post, only that they do not leave prior to 11am. I guess we will have to wait for clarification from those commenting. :thumbsup2

If they had the little signs like privacy, but instead for

Room ready for cleaning...

You could just put it on your door on the way out, and housekeeping could tell which rooms ready for early cleaning...

In the meantime, I call Mousekeeping on the way out.... and run the dishwasher (load and push start)....

DOn't know if it helps, but I try....

I guess that the poster could have meant that they wait until exactly 11 a.m. to vacate the room....I took it to mean that they stayed in the room after 11 a.m. check out time.

I've amended my post to give the poster the benefit of the doubt there. Thanks for pointing out a different way of reading it. :)

That was nice of you Granny, :thumbsup2

I just did not take it that way at all, I guess because we pretty much do the same thing but never stay past the 11am checkout. We express checkout and there have been times when we close the door it is 10:55, but we are out before 11am. We also always call Housekeeping and let them know we are out.

Yes, my post meant that we leave right at 11, and we call housekeeping so they know we're out and can clean the room.

Edited to add: I'm not sure what the obsession about getting into your room before 4 is all about. It's nice, of course, but if the tradeoff is having to get out of the room at 10 or earlier, I'm not interested. I like my mornings in the room, and I don't like to rush around to get out of the room so housekeeping can come in.
