I think her horsey look actually comes from her "mouth" or jaw structure.

I've always thought she looked kinda horse-faced. Her face is so narrow and her nose & chin so long, it's almost a little witchy. But I'm sure Matthew Broderick thinks she's divine.

Oh boy, a long, long time ago here on the DIS I asked the same question and I got sooooo flamed for saying that I didn't think she was that attractive! I was told that I must have low self-esteem for saying that I thought she was kind of ugly.....now that I have watched SATC, I love her and think she is very attractive, actually. But, I'll never forget how I was eaten alive back then for asking this!

I loved her curly bob from SATC! Thought she generally looked darling w/that. Now, w/the longer hair, she tends to look horsey depending on how she turns her face.

Gorgeous. Yes, she looks horsey, but in a really charismatic, stylish way, like a race horse. Her looks are in the great tradition of the silver screen--some of the biggest stars tend to be very individual-looking (think Bette Davis, Katherine Hepburn, Greta Garbo, Barbara Stanwyk, etc., etc.) rather than just model-pretty.

I think she's two faced. I've remarked to dh on this before. She can be so cute one day and then the next look drawn, like a drug addict or something. And this is on a tv show where she has make up and hair people. I don't think it's a weight issue but maybe it is.
