Do you think people will cancel because of the threat?

I'm not considering canceling my trip all together, but the thought of driving has entered into my mind! I was always a paranoid flyer to begin with and this just does not help! I'm sure that my chances of getting into a car accident driving from NJ to WDW is much greater, but one stands a chance of surviving a car accident. Same can't be said for an airliner blowing up in mid air! I'm sure these are just nervous thoughts by me (and my paranoid mind) and that we will be flying on 8/24, but i also am sure I'm not alone here either!

I have to fly to BWI next week, and I'm NOT looking forward to it. But I have to go for work. I could probably cancel if I wanted to, but I still have to fly SOMEWHERE for an interview. I'm just going to build in a few extra hours to get through the security there on our return flight home. I absolutely HATE checking my luggage for an overnight stay (heck, I could probably get by with a dufflebag!) but it is what it is and I can't change it.

We are leaving out of Boston in 3 sleeps. I won't be any more nervous than usual. I never took physics :teacher: so I never get how that huge thing just flys past the clouds!
Peace and :wizard:

I am not afraid to fly, but I would have to consider cancelling it if the electronic restriction were for domestic flights also. I travel with 4 & 7 year old (oldest is autistic) and I am not sure she could cope on a flight without her gameboy. She is also on several liquid vitamin supplements (doctor recomended) that are OTC but are not stocked here locally I have to get them mail order. I always carry them in my carry on. And she has food allergies, carry her snacks also. If these items were lost in luggage I could not easily go to the nearest drug store and replace them. I would have to consider driving.

If it were just DH and me I would not hesitate to fly, but just the inconvience of travel with DD at the best of times I would probably not choose to take her at this time.

If you can handel waits in line no reason to change plans at all.
