I am planning an early November trip with the in laws next year. Haven't nailed down the dates exactly yet, but it could be during Jersey week.

I'm just wondering if anyone thinks I might have difficulty getting a 2 bedroom savanna view unit at AKV at the 7 month window? I probably wont be able to make my OKW backup ressies until next week, but I'd certainly like to change them to AKV at the 7 month window if I can.

Does it get really crazy during Jersey week in the parks?

I think if you go on the waitlist at exactly 7 months you have a pretty good chance of getting what you want. As far as the crowds in the parks during Jersey Week, you will get differing opinions. We have been going every year for Jersey Week and we find the parks to be very manageable for us. This year we found it to be the least crowded Jersey Week in years. I made reservations @ AKV the day the 7-month window opened for Jersey week last year - called right at 9am - and there was less inventory then. I think you'll have luck - but you may want to call day-by-day.

Thanks. I have also toyed with the idea of having them come the end of January when they also have a long school break. It would be the same number of days for them either way, and I KNOW the last week of January will be less crowded in the parks than Jersey Week.
